Cisco Network Designer

Cisco Systems developed a new software tool called Cisco Network Designer to help with the design and configuration of networks. In order to minimize the number of tech support calls, Cisco required all systems engineers and partners to receive training on the product before receiving a copy of the software.

We worked with Cisco Systems to develop instructor-led and web-based training that was deployed worldwide. In the instructor-led course, students install the software on their own laptops, and are guided through a case-study where they practice using the tool. In the web-based course, the students follow the same case-study, but the instructor is replaced with narration and animation. Simulation of the software allows students to practice complex tasks.

 

Cisco Business Essentials

Cisco needed to train non-technical, newly-hired Cisco personnel about the company's products, technologies, and business units. We developed a web-based training course that describes the technology behind Cisco's products, product positioning, and how Cisco's lines of business are structured. The course includes text, graphics, audio narration, and animations to describe various concepts.
