Palm

Palm creates popular handhelds and smartphones. They regularly create new products and need to train customers how to use them. We worked with Palm to create tutorials for a number of their products, including the Treo.

 

Tutorials

We developed web-based tutorials for a number of Palm products that teach customers how to use their new device. The tutorials employ animations and interactions where customers can practice using various features of the devices. The Flash files were created so that text elements could be localized into different languages simply by swapping an XML file.

 

Quick Tour

A "Quick Tour" is a brief tutorial that introduces customers to a device. Users are prompted to access the Quick Tour the first time they startup the device, and is often played to demonstrate devices in stores.
